Rules and Expectations

GUIDELINES FOR STUDENT CONDUCT

In school, in the outside world, in the workplace, etc, your conduct and behavior is your responsibility. Now more than ever, your education is your responsibility.

• Create a positive learning environment in the classroom. This means respecting each other’s viewpoints and opinions. This also means allowing each other to make mistakes without the fear of ridicule.

• Respect yourself and others. Use appropriate language and pay attention when another person is speaking.

• Arrive to class on time and ready to begin.

• Listen to and follow directions given by the teacher. Ask questions if you need clarification. Never be afraid to ask questions.

• Complete all assignments on time and to the best of your ability. Late work will have points deducted. Check Google classroom for our assignments.

• If you are absent, it is your responsibility to complete make-up work. Everything will be on our Google Classroom page. District policy allows two days for each day absent. It is your responsibility to read announcements, updates, and assignments. Again everything you need will be on Google Classroom.
