Tour Our Classroom

Miss Shap's "Teacher Corner" is a space that allows her to have everything she needs to be successful all in one spot.

Our "In Our Class" Board is one of my favorite parts of our room. It a daily reminder of what it means to be a student in our classroom.

Our "Job Spot" allows students to have a different responsibility each week and helps us to learn collaboration skills of working with others in our  community.

Our "Give Me Five" sign helps remind students what an active listener looks like. When we listen and engage, we learn.

Our "Hand Signals" sign helps students to communicate their needs in a classroom-friendly way. 

Our "Community Supplies Center"  allows students to independently help themselves to shared supplies throughout the day.

Our "Do Now Workflow" Board helps build students who are independent thinkers, workers, and do-ers.

Our "Homework Board" is part of students' routines every morning. They are expected to write all of their homework in their planner as part of their workflow.

This board is a great way for Miss Shap to keep track of who is in the room at all times. Safety first!

Our Hall Passes let others in the school know where we are heading when we are in the hallway.

Our "Writing Tools Table" is a place where students can borrow writing utensils during class. Just don't forget to return at the end of the day!

Our "Back Table Area" is a place where Do Now's are placed each day and acts as a flexible seating option for students.

Our "Library" is a place where your love of reading will come to life. We use this space to come together as a class too!

Our "Computer Corner" is run by our "Geek Squad". We are grateful to be a 1-to-1 Chromebook classroom!
