Hi Families!
Welcome to Mawbey Street School #1 ! My name is Angela McArthur, but the students call me Mrs. McArthur or Ms. M. This will be my ninth year teaching in the Woodbridge Township School District. I was the Technology teacher at Mawbey Street School and Woodbine Avenue School from 2018-2021. This year will be my fifth year as the 4th grade Reading & Writing (ELA) teacher at Mawbey Street School.

→ I live with my husband Brian and two sons, Luke (17) and Logan (14).
→ I graduated from Oswego State University in Oswego, NY with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education K-5.
→ This is my eighth year as a full-time teacher in the Woodbridge Township School District, but ninth year working in the district. This will be my fifth year teaching 4th grade. I was the Technology teacher at School #1 and School #23 for three years. I love being a part of the Mawbey Street School Family!
→ I have 15+ years of teaching experience having previously taught kindergarten and second grade in a Charter School.
→I enjoy traveling. Upstate NY, Texas, and Michigan are some of my favorite places to visit.
→I enjoy watching sports, especially football, college basketball, baseball and hockey.
→I enjoy spending time with my family, taking photos, reading, jigsaw puzzles, concerts, technology and camping.
→My favorite color is purple.
→My favorite animal is the red panda.
→My favorite season is Autumn.
→My favorite food is Mexican.
→My favorite sports teams are the Buffalo Bills, Golden State Warriors, Syracuse Orange, and New York Yankees.
→Fun Facts: I LOVE Country Music! I LOVE Target, Amazon, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and Hobby Lobby! I am a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan! I LOVE coffee, iced tea, and Almond Joys.
