Meet the counselor 

My name is Jen Ilaria and I am so excited for the opportunity to be your child's School Counselor.  I grew up in Iselin and graduated from Colonia High School.  After HS, I went to Monmouth University where I received a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education and a M.S.Ed in Educational Counseling. For the past 22 years I have been employed in Woodbridge Township as first a teacher and now a school counselor.  I have experience at both the elementary and secondary levels and in both general education and special education. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. We have a daughter in 9th grade and a son in 6th grade. We also have a rescue dog from Puerto Rico! 

Fun Fact: In 2003, I started my teaching career at Fords Middle School and now after some elementary teaching and counseling experience, I am back at FMS in my school counseling position.
