Student Expectations
Students should:
be responsible for their work, materials, actions, and behavior.
be seated ready to work at the bell.
have all materials with you every day.
be respectful of everyone and everything in the room.
check Google, as needed, for HW, notes, videos, and important class information.
see me immediately if you are having trouble.
make every attempt possible to complete work.
check Google after an absence and see me for any handouts. (You have 2 school days for every excused day absent to turn in work. Unexcused absences, do not receive the same courtesy.)
Parent Expectations:
Parents should:
check Genesis on a regular basis.
encourage children to do their very best.
encourage children to advocate for themselves.
email me with any questions or concerns before it gets too late.
Teacher Expectations
The teacher will:
provide a positive learning environment for all students.
treat each student fairly.
grade/post/return all assignments promptly.
respond to all parent/student concerns/questions promptly.
meet with students that require extra help, as needed.
Work:
All work must be handed in on time.
All work must have a name, date, and period #.
Late work will be marked down 10 points if turned in within 24 hours, after that, late work will receive an automatic 50.Â
This does not apply to students that have an excused absence.
Missing/Incomplete work will receive a ZERO.
Tests will be announced 3-5 days in advance.
Quizzes may be unannounced.
It is your responsibility to review daily concepts each night.
