All About Mrs. Desai

My name is Kuntal B. Desai. I am an ESL & Bilingual Teacher at Oak Tree Road School # 29 in the Woodbridge Township School District.

My qualifications are Masters in Art of Teaching with English as a Second Language and Bilingual & Bicultural Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University & Rutgers University. I have my undergraduate degree from Bombay University, India.

I have been teaching in the Woodbridge Township School District for more than 20 years. I am fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi and Marathi languages. I teach speaking, reading, and writing English to students whose first language is any other than English.

I am an ESL & Bilingual teacher for Second grade and Third grade. In my class I use various strategies to make the transition from home language to academic English which helps students to be successful in school.
