Grading Policy

All homework assignments given Monday through Thursday must be “turned in” (or marked as done) in the  Google Classroom by 8:00AM the following day.  All assignments given on Friday must be submitted in the Google Classroom by 8:00 AM Monday.  Long term assignments may have different due dates and times. 

● If an assignment is turned in one day late, the grade will be lowered 5 points.

● If an assignment is turned in two days late, the grade will be lowered 10 points.

● If an assignment is turned in three days late, the grade will be lowered 15 points; however, the lowest grade that will be posted in the grade book is a 50.

● If a student does not turn in the assignment after the third day, a zero (0) is posted in the grade book.

● Assignments will not be accepted after the three day grace period, resulting in a grade of zero.

Parents will be contacted after a child has missed three assignments. After a child has accumulated three zeros in one class, an intervention will be arranged by an administrator and/or guidance counselor.
