All About Mrs. Beeden

Hello!

My name is Laurie Beeden, and I will be your child's kindergarten teacher.  I am thrilled to be entering my twenty-first year of teaching with the Woodbridge Township School District. 

My passion for education started when I was a young girl, my grandfather would have me teach him what I learned in school each day.  I found satisfaction in transferring my knowledge to others. Throughout my education, I had many influential teachers as mentors, which lead me to graduate Kean University with a B.A. in Teacher of the Handicapped.  The first eight years of my educational career, I taught Special Education.  Then for eleven years, I enjoyed the opportunity to teach second grade!  This is my second year embarking on the journey as a kindergarten teacher.

A few passions of mine are my family, cats, and ladybugs.  On my free time, I enjoy exercising, spending time with my husband and daughter, and watching some sports (baseball and hockey).

I am looking forward for an exciting year packed with fun and learning!  I cannot wait to learn a little bit about your child.
