Sight Words

Each week, new sight words will be sent home. When reading sight words, these words should not be sounded out. These words should be memorized and recognized by sight only. Please try to spend time every night practicing saying and spelling these words with your child. Try to point out sight words that you may find in nightly reading! Please review the new words, along with the words from previous months. Even though we practice our sight words every day in school, the extra time spent at home will go a long way.
