Email is the BEST way to reach me after school. I check my email frequently, so if you need help, send me an email at alysa.kosmowsky@wtsdnj.com
PLEASE DO NOT POST COMMENTS ON GOOGLE CLASSROOM - I WILL MOST LIKELY NOT SEE THEM!
Below is a list of supplies that you will need to be successful in Language Arts this year. If you have any questions or you have any trouble getting anything, please either email me or let me know on the first day of school.
A binder ONLY FOR MY CLASS. This binder will not be leaving the classroom, so please make sure it is a binder that you will not need for any other class. Any size binder will work, but ideally, it should be at least 1 inch thick. You do not need any paper for this - I will give you everything you need to put into it.
5 tab dividers. We will use these to help organize your binder in class.
A folder - Please make sure this folder is ONLY for Language Arts so that you do not lose papers for my class or for your other classes!
Something to write with - I do not care if you use pens or pencils, but please make sure you have something every day. If you would like to leave your writing utensil in the classroom so you don't have to worry about bringing it every day, you are more than welcome to.
Headphones - We do have headphones here that you can borrow, but if you would like to have your own pair, they need to be WIRED (can plug into the computer). You will not be able to use wireless headphones in this class.
Note cards - Some students find it helpful to make note cards to help study vocabulary definitions. ALL vocabulary words will be provided in numerous places, including on digital note cards, but if you would prefer to make your own cards to study from, I encourage it!
