About MRs. Campbell

My name is Erica Campbell, and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year.  this is my fifth year here at Avenel Middle School.  This is my 11th year teaching middle school science (6 in a previous district).  I love working in the district that helped make me the teacher I am today.  I attended Mawbey St, WMS and WHS (forever a Barron!)  Not only do I teach in district, but I live here, and am a proud district parent as well.

I hold a Masters Degree in Science Education as well as my Supervisors Certification. I love what I do, and have had a passion for the field of science since I was little.  I love to see students 'ah ha' moment when they learn more about the world around them.  

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband (proud fire wife), and our daughters.  We have two daughters, our energetic 6 year old daughter, Hailey, and our one year old, Amelia.  I am a cheer coach for my daughters team. I am an animal lover and advocate, we have two rescue pits who I consider my babies.  I am an avid summer lover, and a huge NY Giants & Yankees fan.
