Do Now
Upon entering class, students will read and copy the daily objectives into their notebooks. They will then continue to complete the "Do Now" activity individually. This will occur each and every day at the beginning of class.
The objectives will state the topics and activities we will be covering for the class time. Students are then aware of what is expected of them.
The "Do Now" activity will encourage students to begin class by brainstorming and writing. Students will complete this short activity individually. Some examples of these are: answering questions, defining vocabulary, writing on a prompt, reading related activities, or character education activities.
2. Teacher lecture/instruction
Teacher (s) will lead the class in a lecture/explanation of day's assignment and expectations.
3. Student work

4. Closing
Teacher(s) will wrap up the block with any closing words and answer any last minute questions and assign homework if applicable and remind students of due dates and times
