About me...

I was born in Woodbridge

I was lucky enough to be born in the greatest state in the Union, New Jersey. If you laughed at that statement I would love to have a debate with you. WE live in a state that has it ALL! We have the best schools (highest graduation rate in the nation). We have 127 miles of beautiful beaches, we have rolling hills, Pine forests, and industrial centers. We have a large diverse population which leads to things like endless high quality dinning options. We are centrally located between two amazing cities Philly and New York which offer us easy access to world class entertainment, museums, employment opportunities and more! I could keep going but I will save it for an in person debate if I have not yet convinced you!

I went to WVU

I received my under grad and masters degree in Education through WVUs teacher education program. I absolutely loved being a Mountaineer. I really had not left New Jersey prior to attending WVU and it was a culture shock! It was here that I was able to meet people from all over the country and really get a different perspective from my New Jersey roots. While I did enjoy my time in West Virginia it helped me to realize how much I love my home state, the best state NEW JERSEY.

I love teaching at JFKMHS

This will be my 12th year teaching for the Woodbridge Township School District. When I first began teaching I started as a long term substitute at Colonia High School, then was hired at Woodbridge High School and eventually was transferred to JFKMHS. I could not be happier where I landed, while I did enjoy my time at all of the High Schools in the district JFK truly feels like home! We have the best students and staff around! I look forward to getting to know you all. Stay safe and have a great year!
