“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness.”  

The American Revolution led to the birth of a new nation on July 4th, 1776 with the signing of the Declaration of Independence. As the founding fathers declared independence from England, they also helped assert our unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that we enjoy today.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, we will analyze the stories of divided loyalties, battles, and destruction that happened right here in Middlesex County and helped shape the communities we love today.
