Course Description: Physical Education
It is our mission to provide a positive experience in a variety of Lifetime Fitness Activities and Leisure Recreational Activities, focusing on the establishment of a lifestyle that includes proven concepts of wellness and fitness. We present activities that result in improved muscular coordination, flexibility, strength and endurance.
We challenge all students to grow in character, self-reliance and self-discipline. We help students to reach a higher level of health, vitality, and wellness. This course is aimed to develop physically literate individuals who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity.

Daily routine
Hall lockers
DO NOT bring any personal items to PE class.
Cell phones, air pods, chromebooks, cameras,
Textbooks, bags, purses/pocketbooks, wallets
You are responsible for your belongings- LOCK IT UP
No food or drinks allowed in the gymnasium except bottled water.
DO Not go to the vending machine in the locker room or hallway.
Rules and Regulations
Be prepared to actively participate in activities
Dress appropriately- Comfortable for PE
SNEAKERS ARE REQUIRED EVERYDAY
No crocs, flip flops, shower slides, sandals, boots, uggs, etc.
If you do not wear sneakers, you are unprepared for class
Be prepared to go outside everyday
Have a sweatshirt/jacket available.
Restrooms: *Locker room
Attendance
If you are “absent” you must complete the PE make-up work assignment.
Refer to the PE make-up work calendar
You have 2 days to submit the completed assignment
6 absences in a semester= loss of credit
2 lates in semester= detention
Medicals
If you are on medical you must email your doctor’s note to your teacher and cc the school nurse
Alternate assignments will be given in place of physical activity if on a medical. Students will still need to be in class everyday.
