Meet The Teacher
My name is Alexandra Thompson, and I am excited and honored to be your child’s teacher this school year! This is my sixth year teaching in the Woodbridge Township school district, and my third year at Lafayette Estates School #25. I feel so lucky to work with amazing teachers and colleagues every day, and to be in such a supportive, amazing, and welcoming school!
I received my Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and American studies from Rowan University, and my Certificate to Teach Students with Disabilities from Kean University. I am a firm believer that students of ALL abilities can achieve whatever they set their hearts on, and minds to, with an open, curious, and positive mindset. When I am not at school, you can usually find me on my yoga mat, doing a puzzle, or playing with my dog!
