A+ = 98-100 A = 95-97 A- = 92-94
B+ = 89-91 B = 86-88 B- = 83-85
C+ = 80-82 C = 77-79 C- = 74-76
D+ = 71-73 D = 68-70 D- = 65-67
F = 64 and Below
Minor Assignments: 2/3 - Classwork, Homework, Written Assignments, and Quizzes
Major Assignments: 1/3 - Tests, Projects, and Final Writing Drafts
Late Work: 10 points deducted for each day after the due date
Incomplete Work: 50% in Genesis Gradebook
Missing Work: 0% in Genesis Gradebook
If you are absent, you have 2 days to make up the work. Be sure to check our Google Classroom and come ask me when you return from being absent.
Honors Requirements:
When in honors, students must maintain at least a C average for every marking period. If the student shows signs of earning less than a C as the end of the marking period approaches, the teacher will meet with the student and alert the school counselors. Should the student earn less than a C, or demonstrate a poor attitude and work ethic the student's status will become probationary; the teacher will meet with school counselors and contact parents/guardians to let them know that the student can be removed from honors at the end of the year should the student continue to earn less than a C or demonstrate poor work ethic or attitude.
