Mr. McCann has been teaching Social Studies at Fords Middle School for twenty-four years. He is an active traveler who has been to thirteen different countries and thirty-five different U.S. states. He loves learning new things and sharing his experiences with his students. He currently teaches sixth grade United States History.

Mr. McCann is a Gilder-Lehrman Scholar, conducting ongoing graduate level studies in American History, Global History, and is currently a PhD candidate majoring in the History of Science.
