CLASS EXPECTATIONS
RESPECT EACH OTHER.
ABSOLUTELY no food or drink in the classroom (INCLUDING WATER?)
CELL PHONE USE ONLY with teacher permission.
(for timers/calculators/etc) - otherwise out of sight
Be on time for class.
Leave your area clean when you enter/leave the classroom
Have homework ready to be handed in BEFORE you walk into class. IF you are copying it before the bell rings, it is a ZERO. HAND IT IN IMMEDIATELY IN DESIGNATED AREA.
You are to work by yourself on an assignment unless you are told to work in groups. If you do not work on your own, you are CHEATING. Any form of cheating will be rewarded with a ZERO for that assignment, major OR minor.
LATE WORK = NO THANK YOU. Assignments must be submitted ON TIME for FULL CREDIT (online OR in person)
Behave in an appropriate manner in the classroom
Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for checking daily and completing assignments.
Ask for passes sparingly (only in emergencies please)
CLASS REQUIREMENTS
1 ½ or 2 inch 3-ring binder for this class
Journal or composition book (will need for “Disease Diary”)
Pen/pencil
12 or 24 pack of colored pencils (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED)
There are several dissections in this class. You CHOSE to take this class. It is an elective. I believe the dissections we do are important not only as a learning tool but also as a good introduction to classes you may need to take in the future (assuming you may be interested in something in the medical field) Please be prepared for these labs and be ready to participate. We also will watch live surgeries/procedures about the organs we are learning about.
All homework, slideshows, links to websites, etc. will be posted on Google Classroom. Please check daily.
