About the Teacher

Mrs. Perosi graduated from the Boston Conservatory with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance in 1993 and has recently earned  her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University.  Over the years   she has performed with various small modern dance companies in both the New England and NYC Tri-State Area before getting her NJ State Teacher Certification for Vocational Arts- Dance in 2001.  She piloted the Dance Programs at both Ocean County Vocational School Performing Arts Academy and Union County Vocational School Academy for Performing Arts where she assisted in developing the rigorous dance curriculums for those programs.  While at Ocean County, the dance program received national recognition from the NDEO (National Dance Education Organization) for being named Dance Program of the Year in 2008.  Mrs. Perosi is a member of  Dance NJ and the National Dance Education Organization.   Mrs. Perosi became a Mustang in 2014 and is continually amazed by the raw talent, creativity and passion for learning that is displayed by the JFKMHS students.  Mrs. Perosi is thrilled to share her love for dance with the JFKMHS students and looks forward to continually building the dance program at JFKMHS.
