Mrs. Acuna-Francisco graduated from Kean University with a B.S. in Studio Art. Before becoming an educator, she spent 24 years working as a graphic designer in the pharmaceutical industry and continues to work as a freelance designer across multiple industries today. She is now in her 13th year teaching at John F. Kennedy Memorial High School, where she shares her passion for art, design, and visual communication with her students.
In addition to teaching, Mrs. Acuna-Francisco serves as the set designer for the school’s fall and spring productions, working alongside students to design and create the sets. She also works with Mrs. Rotella to provide art services throughout the school and runs the school’s TV production, Excuse the Interruption — a talk show about Mustangs, by Mustangs, for Mustangs.
