classroom expectations

This is a classroom of respect and learning.  

I expect that every student will make mistakes, ask questions, and be willing to learn from their mistakes.  

I expect that some content will call back to previously learned material and some will be brand new to you.  

I expect that our classroom will focus on logical thinking.  You will be challenged to use your inductive and deductive reasoning processes on a continuous basis.

I expect that all students will be prepared to be uncomfortable.  We are building new pathways in our brains and just like a physical workout you will feel "the burn" before you see results.

I expect to work, learn, and grow with every single student.  I have an absolute love for learning and I expect to take this journey with each student.

SUGGESTED Class Supplies

• 3-ring binder

• Grid paper

• Pencils

• Colored pencils

• Expo Marker

• Straightedge

• Handheld calculator (scientific or graphing at your discretion) 

None of these supplies are required, but each item will make some of the work easier for you.
