Any assignment handed in without work will be considered incomplete and will be given back to students to complete or will be given a grade of 50%.
Assignments will be posted before/during class. Assignments will have the due dates included. All work must be shown to receive full credit.
Homework is usually to finish any assignments not completed in class. All work must be shown to receive full credit.
Classwork will be given on a daily basis. Classwork will consist of worksheets, assignments on google classroom and assignments on apps including quizizz, kahoot, quizlet, Flocabulary, google forms and more.
Binder Checks will happen 1-2 times per marking period. Students are expected to keep their binders up to date with notes and assignments. There is a list of all assignments students should have in their binders located on google classroom. Students should reference this list to maintain up to date binders.
Quizzes and Tests will be given using paper copies, Google Forms and others. Work MUST be shown or points will be taken off.
Assignments are due by the due date listed on google classroom. Late work will be accepted for 3 days after the due date with 10 points taken off for each day late. After the 3 days, the grade will remain a zero.
To turn in a late/missing/absent assignments, students must:
1) Turn in the assignment (on google classroom/turn in tray in classroom)
2) Fill out the "Late work form" & staple to the paper assignment/place in turn in tray
Late work is checked weekly. Please be patient that it may take an extended period of time for grade changes.
If a student is absent, they have 2 days to make up the work for each day absent.
If absent, students should:
1) Check the daily agenda on google classroom for what they missed.
2) Check google classroom under the "TODAY" tab for any online work
3) If an assignment is on paper, students will be given the assignment the next day they are in class.
Once absent work is completed, students should:
1) Hand in work either in basket or on google classroom
2) Complete late work form & select absent option
Late work is checked weekly. Please be patient that it may take an extended period of time for grade changes. Absent work completed within the two day period will not receive a penalty.
