Week of Inclusion
National Inclusion Week is the annual celebration of togetherness, recognizing inclusion in all of its forms. It highlights the importance of inclusive practices, especially within our schools, to educate students on their role in the quest for equality. The goal of this week is to provide an opportunity to build an inclusive school culture where all students feel part of the school community.
Week of Respect
In 2011, New Jersey signed into law the New Jersey Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, a policy created by the New Jersey Legislature that combats bullying in public schools across the state. The Week of Respect, which grew out of the Act, is held annually to raise awareness, educate, and advocate against harassment, intimidation and bullying.
