2/3 Minor Assignments

Classwork/Homework/Quizzes:  66.7%

1/3 Major Assignments

Tests/Projects: 33.3%

Late Work and Absence Policy

Late Work Guidelines

• 1 day late: Maximum score = 95%

• 2 days late: Maximum score = 90%

• 3 days late: Maximum score = 85%

• More than 3 days late: Maximum score = 50%

• Two weeks or more late: Not accepted (unless there are documented extenuating circumstances)

If a student does not turn in an assignment after the third day, a 0 will be entered in the grade book until the work is submitted.

Students will receive a grade no lower than 50% for a serious attempt at the assignment, even if the calculated score is lower than that.

If a Student Is Absent

• All classwork and materials are posted on my website, which is linked in Google Classroom.

• Hard‑copy worksheets are placed in the Absent Bins.

• Students are responsible for contacting me directly to collect any forms or materials that were missed.

• For every day a student is absent, they have two days to make up the work.
