Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Donnelly, and I’m so excited to be your theatre teacher this year. I graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Theatre Education, where I studied acting, directing, play production, and how to bring theatre into the classroom in fun and creative ways.
While at Montclair, I was very involved in student leadership, theatre productions, and community events, which gave me a lot of experience working with people and sharing my passion for the arts. One of the coolest experiences I had was traveling to London on a short study abroad program to learn more about theatre!
Theatre has always been an important part of my life, and I love how it allows us to tell stories, express ourselves, and work as a team. I’ve worked on plays both on stage and backstage, and I enjoy teaching skills like improv, character building, and collaboration. My goal is to make this class a space where you feel comfortable trying new things, taking risks, and discovering your own creativity.
I can’t wait to get to know each of you, play some theatre games, and create amazing performances together!
