Purpose:
Provide knowledge and experience in student government, promote school student activities, promote student leadership, promote communication throughout the school, promote pride within the school, promote philanthropic activities on a school, local, and national level, provide a forum for student expression and address the general needs of the student body of Colonia High School.
Membership:
The Colonia High School Student Council represents all legally-enrolled students at Colonia High School; as such, all students have equal access to membership (provided they meet certain eligibility requirements listed in this document); membership decisions will never be made based on race, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or religion. There are two routes for membership: 1. Class Officer (4 Student Council, 4 Senior, 4 Junior, 4 Sophomore, & 4 Freshman); or 2. Homeroom Representative (2 representatives per homeroom). The Student Council Advisor reserves the right to add to membership, as necessary.

Meeting Dates (All Members): Click on the link to view all of our meeting dates. Our monthly meetings will be on the specified Wednesdays at 7:15am in the media center. Attendance is expected and required. You must communicate any absences AHEAD of the meeting to maintain eligibility for Student Council.
