Candy Sale
Candy: Please have your child bring their completed envelopes (with $80 per envelope) to any of the performing arts teachers by 4/15.
We have 60 boxes left that are not currently being sold. If anyone wants a box, please let us know. If we sell all 200 boxes, we will receive 50% of the profit ($40 per box). If we don't sell 200 boxes, we will receive 40% ($32 per box). We are hoping to sell all 200 boxes.
After School Band
If your child has after school band, please remind them to attend. I am going to do my best with sports, but we are down to just 5 or 6 rehearsals left. I will lay out the plan for the spring sports below:
If your child has a game or is running for a track meet, they will go prep for their game/meet.
If your child has practice, they should come to band.
If your child is participating in Cross Country, but is not running for the meet, they should stay for band instead of going with X Country.
Any other clubs that your child participates in will be on a case-by-case basis. We are heading into the final legs of the season, so I want to ensure the kids have plenty of time to be ready for June 8.
CMS Musicians and parents,
Students participating in the Elementary Instrumental Music Lesson Program, who will be attending Colonia Middle School, are encouraged to continue their musical journey in the Colonia Middle School Instrumental Music Program.
If you rent your instrument, please make arrangements to have the instrument available at the beginning of the school year. Musicians often fall behind because their instrument comes several weeks late.
Rentals can be found at www.themusicshop.com or www.musicarts.com.
Musicians are also encouraged to have a music stand for at-home daily practice.
