To start off the year, we will review the Safety Rules and Lab Procedures expected in a science classroom.  Then, throughout the course of the semester,  we will study the following four units: Science & Technology, Water & The Atmosphere, Sound & Light and Chemistry.  In this class we will use textbook readings, notes, lab activities, projects and homework assignments to enhance our knowledge of science.  I look forward to an exciting year! 

Students will need the following materials for science class:

• A composition notebook

• A highlighter

• A red pen

• A pen or pencil to write with each day 

Students will be provided with the following materials: 

• Textbooks for each unit

• A safety contract
