Hi everyone. I am very excited to have you in art class this quarter. Even though it's not quite the same as if we were in school and using a lot of fun messy art materials, I still will try to make this as exciting for you as possible! I have been teaching art now for over 24 years and love my job, especially teaching at Colonia Middle School for the past 15 years! I love working with all of you. You make things a lot of fun for me. I love seeing what you all can produce in such a short amount of time. Please feel free to contact me with ANY questions what-so-ever!!! I have been working really hard to get a whole bunch of different types of art lessons for you. Some are quick 1 day lessons and others I'll give you a few days to complete. When handing things in, please turn in projects on your google classroom.

Each day, however, I will be taking attendance. I encourage you to get onto Zoom on time for class as well as participate as much as possible. I am giving you a great deal of extra credit grades as well as project grades. Participation, behavior, turning projects in on time, following directions, and many other things will impact your grade in a positive way so even if you are not the best artist and honestly do not like art, it does not mean you will get a low grade in my class. I put a great deal of emphasis on EFFORT!!!! I want you to at least try, participate, pay attention, and especially HAVE FUN with the projects!!!!!
