In my 7th and 8th grade math classes, students delve into foundational concepts and problem-solving techniques that will prepare them for higher-level math. The curriculum covers key areas such as algebra, geometry, and data analysis, emphasizing critical thinking and application of mathematical principles. Interactive lessons and hands-on activities are designed to engage students and build a deep understanding of each topic. Regular assessments and collaborative projects help track progress and encourage teamwork. My goal is to foster a positive learning environment where students develop both confidence and competence in their mathematical abilities.
In my Coding class, students explore fundamental programming concepts through engaging, hands-on activities. Using platforms like Tynker, they learn to create simple programs, understand algorithms, and develop problem-solving skills. The course emphasizes a playful and interactive approach to coding, making complex ideas accessible and enjoyable. By the end of the class, students will have a solid foundation in coding basics and the confidence to tackle more advanced programming challenges.
