Follow all safety rules.
Leave all food and drinks in your locker. Water bottles can be left on the table by the door.
Listen when others are talking.
Raise your hand to contribute, ask questions, or ask permission to get up
Be on time. For in person instruction, on time means in your seat working on the Do Now when the bell rings.
Bring the following items to class each day:
Chromebook
Notebook
Pencil
Calculator (should include parenthesis and scientific notation capabilities, i.e., TI30X)
Complete your work on time.
Each Marking Period grade is based on
50% Major Assessments (tests, projects)
50% Minor Assessments (quizzes, labs, classwork, homework)
Final class grade is calculated as 40% MP1, 40% MP2, and 20% Final Exam.
You are responsible for finding out what work you missed and making up the work.
Check Google Classroom for missed assignments. See me before/after class or email me with questions.
If an absence is excused, students are permitted two days for each day absent to make up work. A zero will be entered in to Genesis Gradebook until the assignment is completed and graded.
Please send me an email to notify me when an assignment is turned in electronically after the original due date due to an excused absence.
As per the Parent/Student Handbook, 2 unexcused lates = 3 days detention!
No one is permitted outside of class during class time without a pass.
Please do not ask to use the bathroom while I am instructing unless it is an emergency.
