I also grew up in Long Valley! This is me in 4th grade!
Welcome to our class! I am entering my 22nd year teaching. I started my career in Bernards Township, NJ. When Benedict A. Cucinella opened in 2006, I jumped at the opportunity to come back to the schools here in Long Valley where I grew up!
You may see me around town, since I live right here in Long Valley too! I have 3 kids- a daughter in 7th grade at LVMS, and both a son and daughter at West Morris Central! Also, my husband, Mr. Jones works in Washington Township Schools as a STEM Coach.
Keep your eyes open in the halls and you might bump right into him! :)
I’m excited to share that I’m going back to school again! A little over a year ago, I was accepted to Centenary University to pursue my second Master’s degree. I truly love continuing to learn and grow, especially when it comes to exploring the best practices in education.
In my spare time I enjoy exploring Long Valley events with my family. My mom also lives with us, so my children are so lucky to share each day with their Grandma. We love to visit farms, eat out, and take every opportunity to travel and explore small towns nearby. We take advantage of each experience that comes our way, while making many memories together.
It is very likely you will see me shopping at our local Target multiple times a week. :) You might also see me at the town parks carpooling with families to football, cheer, field hockey, and gymnastics. I am a mom just like the other moms you know! I am sure we do many of the same things in town.
We love spending time with our friends. They seem to fill our weekends with endless laughter and happiness. This year, I hope that you learn to choose friends that value and resect who are you are as a person. Just like I tell my own kids, be sure you choose people that make you feel good. Stay near those people that feel like sunshine. I feel so incredibly lucky to have great friends who love me just the way I am! :)
Finally, I LOVE to be outside. The beautiful world around us is amazing and a true gift! Below is a photo of our family hiking in Smith Rock, Oregon this past summer. We love spending time with our dogs, watching the sunrise in Asbury Park, having coffee with friends, and taking walks around our neighborhood. There is a good chance you will see us walking the trail near the Coffee Potter, just like I am sure you do as well!
