- Make yourself a personal 'Best of' Classroom, then scroll through your Classes from this year and when you find something great -- go to the new class and 'Reuse' the old posts.
- Click: Classes, and the + to Create Class to get started.

Click Reuse Post to select content from any of your current or archived classes, and post them to a new or existing class (see animated GIF).

- Touch up the instructions based on best practices you have established
- Adjust linked templates and documents, and add/remove links
- Save as a 'Draft' in a New Classroom for next year.

If you found the groove in Google Classroom (Topics are set up in a way that worked with students, for example, and more of the Posts are workable) you can Copy the Class with a new name for next year.

- Go to Classes, and click the 3 dot menu and choose 'Copy'
- Rename the new Class for the new section you will use it for
- All students will be removed, the STREAM will be clear, and all CLASSWORK will be turned to Drafts for you to adjust and Post when the time is right.

- Come up with some best practices for using Topics, assignments, quizzes, etc. regarding format and content, and adjust your Draft posts so they are ready to assign.
- After you Copy a Class, Archive the old Class. You can always go back and see how something was done -- especially to learn from the work students did.

When you are done combing through and/or copying content from old classes, clean up your Class list by Archiving them. You will still be able to see old work, student interactions, and lessons learned by clicking the 'Archived Classes' link at the bottom of your class list.
