You can either pay for the amount of the book or bring in a new copy of the book.
At school, you can look at the lost and found in the lunch room. There's also your desk, cubby, classroom library, or backpack.
At home, you can check your home library, desk, or ask your family for help looking.
You can either call the library or I can for you. Usually, the public library and school library exchange books that are returned to the wrong place at the end of the schoolyear.
There are special SRS labels on the library books. There's a barcode label on the back of the book with SRS on it and SRS is stamped on the inside of the book as well.
If the book is still in print, a new copy will be bought with money unless the price of the book is higher than when it was first bought. If a book is out of print or the price changes to higher, a similar kind of book will be bought instead. For example, if Rainbow Magic Ruby the Red Fairy was out of print, the library would buy a similar fairy story or another book from the same series.
