Bringing Mathematical Thinking to Life

Learn more about Mrs. Minick, K-5 Instructional Mathematics Coach:

• I am a 18 year veteran teacher. I obtained my Masters in Teaching and Curriculum in 2007 and administrative certificate in 2015 from Penn State University.
• Most of my teaching career I taught first grade though I have experience teaching both 5th and 6th grade. By far my favorite experience in the classroom was teaching young children how to read!
• Other professional highlights included: first grade level leader, part-time instructional coach, EPEA president, interim Director of Curriculum and Instruction at EPASD.
• My mission is to help teachers use best practices in mathematics in order to build conceptual understanding for all students and equip students with mathematical problem solving strategies.
