Junior Royalty Participant Information

Trainbearers
Age requirement: 5-8 years of age on September 19, 2026

Girl Trainbearer Participation Fee includes an 8X10” portrait of participant, gown, slippers, and a Jewel Ball ticket for the participant.

Boy Trainbearer Participation Fee includes an 8X10” portrait of participant, tuxedo and shoe rental, and a Jewel Ball ticket for the participant.

WSL members should review their 2026 dues receipt to verify the number of Jewel Ball tickets they have secured. Associated organization participants and non-WSL member participants receive two adult Jewel Ball tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased as part of a sponsored table, or when single tickets go on sale.

Maidens & Squires
Age requirement: 7th Grade in the Fall of 2026

Maiden Participation Fee includes an 8X10” portrait of participant, gown, slippers, and a Jewel Ball ticket for the participant.

Squire Participation Fee includes an 8X10” portrait of participant, tuxedo and shoe rental, and a Jewel Ball ticket for the participant.

Belles & Beaux
Age requirement: 10th Grade in the Fall of 2026

Belle Participation Fee includes an 8X10” portrait of participant, gown, slippers, a Jewel Ball ticket for the participant, and a Soirée ticket for the participant.

Beau Participation Fee includes an 8X10” portrait of participant, tuxedo and shoe rental, a Jewel Ball ticket for the participant, and a Soirée ticket for the participant.

Associated organization participants and non-WSL member participants receive two adult Jewel Ball tickets. 2026 Junior Royalty Participant Fees

Junior Royalty Fees must be remitted by April 10, 2026 and before portrait sessions can be completed. Payment plan is available with $250 deposit.

Portrait Sessions, Gown & Tuxedo Fittings

Junior Royalty Girls

Portrait Sessions and Gown fittings for April 13-16, 2026 are now closed.

If you still need your portrait taken, please schedule for the week of April 27–30 (Boys Portrait Session link).

Please note, a separate appointment for your gown fitting at Alexia Gavela Bridal, 10000 Research Blvd., Suite 250, Austin, TX 78759 is required and must be completed no later than April 30.

Junior Royalty Boys

Portrait Sessions are scheduled for April 27-30, 2026 from 4:00 - 7:15 PM, Rosedale Neighborhood (45th/Shoal Creek). Address of studio location will be included in your confirmation and reminder email.

A tuxedo jacket, shirt, bow tie, etc. will be provided for your child's portrait session.

Boys Portrait Session

Boys must be fitted for their Jewel Ball tuxedo no later than August 14 at Royal Tuxedo, 2206 W Anderson Ln, Austin, TX 78757, 512-339-6652.

Girls Slipper Fittings

Girls must be fitted for Jewel Ball Slippers by Friday, July 24 at Movin' Easy Dancewear, 7756 Northcross Dr Ste 111, Austin, TX 78757, 512-474-0980

Slippers are included in the Junior Royalty Registration Fee.
