Rende District is long and narrow from north to south, and the traffic in the territory was not smooth, which affected the students' studies. Among them, the "Dajia, Yiren, Wen-hsien, Hushan" and other four primary schools in the District were the most. In view of this, the superiors and local people, Therefore, in August 1976, on the west side of Baoan Village, Rende District, the "Tainan County Rende High School Wen-hsien Branch" was established. Mr. Wang Mingxin, You Minzheng, and Huang Denglin served as the directors of the branch successively, and the school was founded. It was very hard to prepare at the beginning.
In August 1981, the school was approved to be established and named "Tainan County Wen-hsien Junior High School". On December 25, 2000, due to the merger of Tainan County and City, the name of the school was changed to "Tainan Municpal Rende Wen-hsien Junior High School".
In August 1981, the provincial government appointed Mr. Xu Qinzhang as the first principal. He actively built classrooms, enriched equipment, beautified the environment, and rewarded outstanding students. Unfortunately, he passed away during his tenure in May 1984.
In August 1984, the provincial government appointed Mr. Guo Wenjiang to take over the school as the second principal.
Guo Wenjiang had been vigilant and fearful since he took office as the principal, and is determined to innovate. He was known as the master of the grand master. He strengthened teaching work, cultivated the character of students, paid attention to the function of environmental education, and strived for the balanced development of students' five educations, so that the school can become a "lively" school. Good students who were lively and good citizens who were dignified and upright" was an ideal school.
In March 1991, Principal Guo was transferred, and the provincial government ordered Mr. Wu Yixiong to take over as the third principal.
President Wu Yixiong took over the school affairs, hoping to inherit the fine tradition and style of study of "Wen-hsien", and made unremitting efforts; and always uphold the working philosophy of "students first, teachers first" and sincerely serve. It was hoped to create a peaceful and pleasant school, so that the "Wen-hsien" can progress and grow stronger.
On March 12, 1993, Principal Wu was transferred to Yingjun Junior High School, and the provincial government ordered Mr. Huang Guangming to take over as the fourth principal.
Principal Huang Guangming grew up in his hometown. He regarded the school as his home, beautified and greened the campus, advocated business management, and implemented humanistic care: he hopes to encourage students to "have love in their hearts and always be grateful." The spirit of his humanistic education was reflected in the history of Wen-hsien and heritage.
In August 1998, Principal Huang was transferred, and the provincial government appointed Principal Chen Renzheng to take over as the fifth principal.
Principal Chen Renzheng inherits the past, inherits the past and ushers in the future, fully carries forward the spirit of teaching without distinction with the great love of education, and goes deep into the community to play the school's social education function. On the basis of a good foundation, we are highly caring for students and dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly; we cultivate students' physiques, develop students' talents, strive for excellence, and strive for greater heights.
In August 2005, Principal Chen was transferred to Shalun Junior High School, and the county government appointed Principal Cai Fangmei to take over as the sixth principal.
Principal Cai Fangmei inherited the high-quality style of study established by the previous principals, and deeply rooted the team with "heart and innovation", focusing on the daily life of education, the cultivation of environmental education, and the practice of students' moral education, cultivating students with both character education and humanistic care, and cherishing The relationship between teachers and students creates an exquisite and warm campus culture and virtuous students who "filial piety, respect teachers, gratitude, and cherish blessings".
In August 2012, Principal Cai was transferred to Shanshang Junior High School, and the Municipal Bureau of Education appointed Principal Lin Shichang to take over as the school's seventh principal.
In addition to continuing the school's exquisite and warm style of study, Principal Lin Shichang, in line with the opportunity of the 12-year national basic education reform, adhereed to the school's business vision of "vitality, gratitude, responsibility, and innovation". He actively developed the school's reading, arts, physical fitness, science, and character education. The course aimed to cultivate benevolent and virtuous students with international competitiveness in the new century, hoped to meet the challenge of declining birth rate with excellent performance and created a new foundation for the sustainable operation of the school.
In August 2016, Principal Lin Shichang retired, and the Municipal Bureau of Education appointed Principal Biao Geng-an to take over as the eighth principal of the school.
Principal Biao Geng-an, adhering to the grand foundation laid by previous principals, led the administrative and teaching teams to manage school affairs, developed students' potential, and created a high-quality campus.
In August 2019, Principal Biao Geng-an retired, and the Municipal Bureau of Education appointed Principal Chen Liru to take over as the school's ninth principal.
Principal Chen Liru adheres to the concept of "students first, education first" and strives to run the school. She puts the first emphasis on moral education and the practice of daily routines, actively promotes the school's characteristic courses, provides students with a variety of performance platforms,and creates countless achievements. She introduces community resources, combines local culture, inspires and leads the teacher team towards teaching excellence. She develops [Meili Renwen] school-based characteristic courses, practices humanistic spirit with love and care, and hopes to cultivate "adaptive talents, cherishing blessings, and being grateful.
