Open the lesson plan document and review it at least two weeks in advance of teaching the lesson. Your ITF and/or Media Coordinator will host mini-training / Q and A sessions within five days of the assigned "teach" day. These are optional, but can be used if you would like additional supports.
Make needed copies and create online assignments to post in Canvas prior to teaching the lesson
Use additional resources to supplement your lesson if needed or if you want to grow the dialog with your group
Complete the lesson
Grade/review the assessment tools to revisit any areas of struggle with your students
After teaching, complete the teacher feedback form for your ITF and MC to use to redesign, edit, and/or modify the lesson plans to make sure they are meeting the standards/goals.
Lesson One: Quarter One
Ideally taught after NC Check In A on one of the two reserved test days in the social studies classes
Lessons Two and Three: Quarter Two
Ideally taught after NC Check In B
Lesson two would be taught on day one of the testing in the class that was tested (i.e. if we take math on the first day, then math would teach lesson two that day)
Lesson three would be taught on the second day of testing in the class that was tested that day
Lessons Four and Five: Quarter Three
Ideally taught after NC Check In C
Lesson four would be taught in the social studies classes on test day one
Lesson five would be taught in the science classes on test day two
