Today is the last Wednesday Enrichment of the fall semester!
Since the structure of Wednesdays is going to be different for the rest of the year, I want you to take today to catch up on any music lessons you might have missed. If you have done every single lesson (AWESOME JOB!!!!) scroll down and find your favorite lesson to do again.
You can also look through the fall music residency lessons and choose one of those. It doesn't have to be your grade level! Have fun!!
We are doing something a little bit different today! I want you to take some time exploring Chrome Music Lab. There are tons of ways for you to compose your own music. There is no exit ticket today. Have fun creating!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a great break. All you need today is yourself! Let's go!
Today we are trying something a little different. I have created a virtual CHOICE BOARD for you! Please pick 3 activities to do! You can choose between singing, moving, and playing. Have fun!
Make some space and grab your bucket and sticks! It's time to TREPAK!
Today we are going to continue reviewing recorder fundamentals, but with animal sounds and improvising. Grab your recorder, and let's go!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break full of food and fun! I don't know about you, but I have eaten pie every day for the last week.
Today we are going to review some recorder fundamentals. Grab your recorder, and let's go!
Today you need a cup that you can't break (preferably made out of plastic or paper). Get ready to make music about one of my all time favorite subjects, FOOOOOOOOD!
This week we are adding some new elements to our November poem. Grab your music kits and let's go!
Well, I think fall is officially leaving. I think I have counted 4 days of snow at my house in the last week!
Grab your music kits and get ready to play and move to this November poem!
Today we are using our MUSIC KITS! If for some reason you don't have your kit yet, grab 3 different sized pots or bowls to use as B, A, and G (high, middle, low) and something to hit them with. Get ready to make some musical monster treats. YUM.
Today we are learning about a composer and musical story from Norway. You will need a ball that bounces! It doesn't matter what size or what kind of ball. It just has to BOUNCE! Goooooooood luuuuuuck!
Today we are learning about Norway and finishing up our Norwegian greeting song. I think the weather we have had the last week will fit into it nicely! Good luck with the body percussion. Hehehe.
Today we are exploring a different way to move our bodies. I am excited to teach you a new song from Norway! It has been stuck in my head for days. DAYS.
PS- Can I just tell you all how much I love reading your responses on the Exit Tickets? I miss seeing your smiling faces so much. Getting to hear from you is a bright spot in my week :)
The video website should be unblocked for everyone. If you are still having trouble, try restarting your computer. If that still doesn't work, send me an email!
I cannot get enough of this awesome book. The writing, the illustrations, the message...I LOVE IT. It made me cry the first time I read it. Seriously.
I am so excited to share it with you this week. Watch the video below!
