Student voice matters. Students should have a say in decisions that affect their education and future.
Advocacy is essential. I believe in speaking up for students and helping them learn to speak up for themselves.
There is no one “right” path. Success looks different for every student.
Support should be judgment-free. Students should feel safe coming to their counselor about anything.
Small moments can make a big difference. Sometimes simply being a consistent, caring adult is the most important thing we can offer
