Strategic Plan Goal 1: Student Engagement
Attendance Data
Description: We hope to improve student attendance by creating a welcoming and engaging learning environment.
Definitions:
SIS Reported Attendance Rate- This rate is our overall rate of attendance describing the rate at which students showed up at school.
Full-Day Attendance Rate- This rate considers the amount of time spent in class. The rate will go down if students miss a class period, are tardy, or left early.
Learning Expectations Data
Description: During school, we support our students in becoming well-rounded individuals. Our Learning Expectations include Empathy, Perseverance, Integrity, Communication, and Critical Thinking
Students are graded on these expectations in the same manner that they are graded on the standards.
Strategic Plan Goal 1 Continued: Student Success
Renaissance STAR Screener Data
Renaissance STAR is our new computer adaptive screening tool. We administer this 20-minute assessment three times a year as one measure of how we are doing in the area of reading and math. We also use this tool to identify areas in need of improvement and students who may need additional support through our MTSS process.
Students in grades 2-10 take the STAR Reading and Math assessment and our students in 1st grade take the Early Literacy Assessment during all three testing windows. Our Kindergarten students will take the Early Literacy Assessment starting in the Winter.
Strategic Plan Goal 2: Culture and Wellness
We are able to track overall culture and wellness through three different measures.
1. Logged behavior incidents- School staff use a behavior response protocol to ensure a consistent response to student behaviors. This response protocol includes a description of when a behavior should be documented. The data below indicates a spike in behaviors this year which could be partially due to an increase of behaviors being logged as a result of the response protocol that was put in place as of the FY24 school year. The chart below will be updated 4x annually.
2. Panorama Social Emotional Screener- This screener is given two times a year via a teacher rating scale for students in grades K-2 (measuring Engagement, Classroom Effort, Emotional Regulation, and Grit) and a self-reported student for grades 3-12 (measuring Supportive Relationships, Positive Feelings, Challenging Feelings, and Emotional Regulation). The data for this will be posted following the administration of the first screener in November and updated again after the final screener in April/May.
3. Measurable Results Assessment- This is a survey given as part of our Leader In Me work. It is given to staff, students, and guardians in order to measure Leadership, Culture, and Academics. This data will be posted annually at the end of each school year.
