WHY FLEX

I found Flex after looking into different classes and options I had in order to continue learning what I wanted to. Flex gave me the time and resources from the school for me to research Architecture -A future career opportunity-  and work on college applications while earning credit for the projects and research I finished.  

FLEX PROCESS AND STRUCTURE 

At the beginning of the 2025-26 fall semester I met with Ms. Thielen in order to plan out the structure for my Flex study. We landed on meeting once a week for half an hour. During the other days I would be researching information related to Architecture, research colleges and start the application process, and we hoped for me to shadow multiple local architecture firms. 

POST HIGH SCHOOL RELEVANCE 

Taking this Flex study gave me the knowledge to know what I wanted to do after High School. I researched a possible career opportunity in order to find out if I was looking into going into the right field. 

The beginning of this flex study included sending out my first emails to local architecture firms
