Chorus & Vocal Music

Overview

Here at BAMS, we have many vocal music opportunities. At the core of our program, we have our 7th grade chorus and our 8th grade chorus. Anyone may take chorus, regardless of singing background. The only requirements are an enjoyment of singing and willingness to work hard! Students will learn how to sing with healthy technique, learn how to read music, and practice being a part of an ensemble. We also have Selects, our after school auditioned singing group (you must be in chorus to be in Selects). In addition to in-school groups, the District VI Music Association hosts a District Music Festival each fall that includes an auditioned Middle School District Chorus . Finally, there is a school musical each year that students can get involved with. We hope to see you in one of our groups soon!
