All About Your Teacher

This is my 17th year teaching first grade in the Wentzville School District. I absolutely love teaching first grade and am proud to be a Lakeview Lion! One of my favorite things about teaching first grade is helping to grow my readers and writers! My masters degree is in literacy instruction. In the 2018/2019 school year, I was named "Teacher of the Year" for Lakeview Elementary, "District Teacher of the Year" for Wentzville School District and "Regional Teacher of the Year" for the St. Louis Region. I can't wait to share my love of learning with your child!

I am married to my husband, Andy, and have two children, Lilly and Henry. I love to read, craft, shop, and spend time with my family. My favorite sports team is the St. Louis Cardinals. My favorite children's books are anything written by Mo Willems and the Mercy Watson series. I love coffee and anything sweet. One thing I can't resist is the Target dollar spot!
