Behavior

We use the Zones of Regulation to discuss how we are feeling throughout the day! Students will learn coping strategies for each zone to use. For example, when a student is in the yellow zone, they can take deep breaths or go for a walk to return to the green zone. We strive to be in the green zone as much as possible but teach students that it is normal to be in other zones from time to time- no zone is bad! We also discuss that their reaction should match the size of the problem. A small problem should have a small reaction. We share this with you so you can use this vocabulary at home with your child!
