If you see a scholarship that is crossed out, it usually just means that last year's deadline has passed, but this year's scholarship isn't active yet. Some of the links may still take you to the scholarship website, where you may be able to view eligibility criteria from previous years.

· Fox Theater St. Louis Teen Competition: click here to access more information about the competition. The competition will award several scholarships. The top scholarship is $8000. Registration deadline January 8th, and competitions begin in early February
· Missouri PTA Scholarship: click here to find instructions and the application (click on "Application Process".) Applicants must have a higher than average scholastic standing, have outstanding potential aptitude for teaching, good character, and personality, have financial need, enroll in a community college or university in Missouri to obtain a Degree in Education. For each two (2) years of assistance, recipient must teach for one year in a public elementary or secondary school (or work in some other capacity as a certified educator). Deadline to apply: Feb 15th
· MFA Agri-Services Scholarship: click here for the online application (scroll to bottom of page to the "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE" message). Open to students whose parents/grandparents are customers/patrons of MFA Agri-Services. 2 scholarships throughout our Wentzville sales area to qualifying graduating high-school students in the amount of $2000 each. The student must enroll in an accredited school pursuing a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science , or Associates degree. Deadline to apply: Feb 15th
· St. Charles County Cattleman's Association Essay Contest: Click here to find a link to the essay prompt and mailing instructions for this scholarship. Three scholarships worth $500 will be awarded to seniors in St. Charles County. Must be postmarked by Feb 21st.
· MOCPA Scholarship: Click here to access the application. $500 for Accounting majors. Deadline to apply: Feb 29th
· Delta Waterfowl Scholarship: Click here to access the application. (2) $500 scholarships to be awarded to a local High School student seeking post-secondary education or a college student. Delta would prefer they go to students pursuing a career in waterfowl biology, but can go to anyone with a focus on conservation, or has been impacted by conservation. Deadline to apply: March 1st
· Crossroads Art Council Scholarship: click here to access the application. $500 for students who exhibit a dedication to creating and sharing their art. Applications will be mailed, and must be received by March 1st
· Missouri Courage Scholaship: click here to access the application. $500-$2000 for students with demonstrated academic achievement, school involvement, community engagement, diversity, demonstrations of courage, and commitment to enhancing the lives of LGBTQ individuals and working toward social justice. Deadline to apply: March 1st
· Missouri Masonic Scholarships: (Multiple scholarships) click here to find the applications. Applicants must live in Missouri, have at least a 3.0 GPA and 18 ACT, be involved in school activities, and exhibit financial need. There are (3) different scholarships available: Masonic Merit Scholarship ($1,000/year - any degree program), Ruth Lutes Bachmann Scholarship ($1,000/year - students seeking degree in education or healthcare), and Samuel Smith Stewart Masonic Scholarship ($16,000/year any degree program). Deadline: must be postmarked by March 1st.
· Missouri Bankers Association Scholarship: Click here to access the application. $1000 for banking-related majors. Deadline to apply: March 1st
· American Association of University Women: Click to access the application and to see the instructions. 2 scholarships worth $500 will be awarded to young women in St. Charles County. Applicants must be in the top 10% of their class, show evidence of high character, and be active in school and community affairs. Applications require a counselor form filled out by me, a recommendation letter, and a copy of your transcript. The complete application must be mailed to the committee chair and must be received by March 3rd.
· Missouri Women’s Golf Education Association: click here to access information and application. (varies) Scholarship based on golf experience, academics, service, leadership. Deadline to apply: Second Saturday in March
· St. Charles County Marine Corps League Det# 725 Scholarship: click here to access information and application. Multiple $1200 scholarships. Open to seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA, who have a family member who is active duty, reserve duty or honorable discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Marine Corps League, or Auxiliary. Unofficial transcript is required, see application for mail/email address. Postmark or email deadline for application submissions: March 15th.
· New Melle Chamber of Commerce Scholarship: Click here to apply. Four $2000 scholarships; Open to residents in the New Melle Chamber of Commerce boundaries. Deadline to apply: TBA
· West Community Credit Union Scholarship: click here to access information and application. Parent and/or recipient must be a member of West Community Credit Union. (5 @ $1500) . Deadline to apply: March 15th
· Lake St. Louis Kiwanis Scholarships: Click here to access the application. One $500 scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded to area high school seniors The Kiwanis Scholarships are awarded to qualified high school seniors in the Wentzville school district. The scholarships are for post secondary education and can be used at any college, university, trade or specialty school. Selection criteria include: community service, academic performance, extracurricular activities, and financial need. Deadline to apply: March 22nd
· Old Monroe Lumber Company Trade School Scholarship: click here to access application. $1000 renewable scholarship for students who will be pursuing a trade school education. Open to residents in St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren, and Pike Counties. Deadline to apply: March 24th
· Shelter Insurance Scholarship: Click here to access the application. One scholarship worth $1500 will be awarded to a WSD senior. This is not a need-based scholarship. Heavy consideration is given to GPA and ACT scores. You are encouraged to provide a resume with the application. Return completed applications to Mrs. Gerringer. Deadline to apply: March 31st
· Missouri Farm Bureau Scholarships: Various scholarships available. Click here for the application list. Scholarship amount ranges (most are $1000-2000). Open to all students residing in St. Charles County who plan to major in either Agriculture or other industries that are critical to rural communities (business, medicine, engineering, education, etc.). Deadlines vary, beginning on March 15th
· Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest: Click here to access the application. Must submit a video essay or 500-word written essay honoring a Black American who has been an inspiration in the applicant’s life. (1) $2500 winner from Missouri. Deadline to apply: March 31st
· Missouri Asphalt Pavement Association (MAPA) Scholarship: Click here to access the scholarship. Scholarships ranging from $1000-$1500. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in an infrastructure related field, which may include engineering, construction management, geotechnical, surveying, diesel mechanics, heavy equipment operation, etc. Application must be RECEIVED by April 1st
· Wentzville Masonic Albert H. Miller Scholarship: Click here to access the scholarship application. One $1500 scholarship will be awarded to a WSD Senior who plans to attend a Technical College. Preference given to students who have completed some community service; requires two letters of recommendation. Deadline to apply: April 15th
· Cuivre River Scholarships: click here for the application. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and live within the service area of Cuirvre River Electric Cooperative. 70 scholarships worth $1000 are awarded! Deadline to Apply: April 12th

· Jill Berni Scholarship: click here to access application. St. Louis Food & Nutrition Directors Association is sponsoring a $2,500 scholarship. Open to students interested in a culinary arts, dietetics, food service or hospitality management. Postmark Deadline May 1st

AES Engineers Scholarship - Scholarship Criteria: High GPA should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason we are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted. Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible. Deadline: October 6th
Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway Deadline for applications is October 18th
Horatio Alger National Scholarship Program Applications for National and State Scholarships are due Oct. 25 (Applications for Career-Tech Scholarships open on March 15th)
Newcomer Funeral Service Scholarship for students who intend to pursue a degree in Mortuary Science. Applications are due October 25th.
VFW Voice of Democracy Scholarship - open to 9-12 graders. This year's essay theme is "American History: Our Hope for the Future." Deadline to submit to our local VFW representative is 10/31/17.
THE COCA-COLA SCHOLARS PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors each year. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. (150) $20,000 scholarships will be awarded. Minimum 3.0 GPA after 6 semesters. Deadline: 5 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, October 31
Missouri Association of Financial Aid Personnel (MASFAP) - MASFAP is offering a one-time $1,000 scholarship to a 2018 graduating senior from a Missouri High School planning to attend a private or public 2 or 4 year institution, or vocational-technical school in Missouri in fall 2018. The topic is who inspires you and/or makes a difference in your life. Essay and photo required. Deadline: October 31
National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) - NESA offers two basic types of scholarships: academic scholarships and merit scholarships. NESA academic scholarships are based on school and Scouting participation, academic performance, and financial need. All academic scholarship applicants must have a minimum 28 ACT score to apply. (A "super score" may be used to meet this requirement). Multiple scholarships available, ranging from $2000 to $50,000. Deadline: October 31

The National Association of Secondary School Principals – Prudential Spirit of Community Awards were created to recognize students in middle and high school grades (5-12) who have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. Only one student from Liberty can move on to regional competition. Fill out the student application online by the deadline. You MUST inform Mrs. Gerringer that you have applied. Deadline: Nov. 5
Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship - The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2018 competition. Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. The 20 top finalists will participate in an all expenses paid Leadership Weekend in Chicago during which they’ll interview with the national judges. These 20 finalists will be vying for two first-place awards of $50,000; two second-place awards of $40,000; and two third-place awards of $30,000. The remaining 14 finalists will receive awards of $20,000. The 480 runners-up will receive fifth-place scholarships of $4,000. Deadline: Nov. 15. The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship - A Constitutional Speech Contest – State finalists receive up to $2,000 and National contest participants can receive $1,400-$18,000. High school students must deliver an 8-10 minute prepared oration addressing some aspect of the constitution of the United States. Open to grades 9-12. See Mrs. Gerringer for details; only one Liberty student can be nominated. Deadline: November 21
Louis S. Sachs Scholarship Program (Progress 64 West) - Two college scholarships will be awarded to local seniors. (1) $5,000 scholarship, (1) $2,500 scholarship. The Louis S. Sachs Scholarship is awarded annually in honor of the late Louis S. Sachs, a visionary entrepreneur. To be eligible, a student must be a high school senior in the Parkway, Rockwood, Francis Howell, Fort Zumwalt and Wentzville school district areas. Expressions Challenge - Open to 9-12 grade students. All high schools students in grades 9-12 are welcome to express what matters to them through three different categories: Creative Writing, Visual Arts and Media Arts. There are no minimum GPA requirements to participate. Top Prize is $2000. Deadline: December 15
ACT Student Champion Award - The ACT Student Champion Award recognized one student in each state who is tenacious and persistent, no matter the challenge, and is prepared for life after high school with a goal in mind and a plan in place. ACT Student Champions receive a $500 non-renewable scholarship, certificate, plaque, and a state-level recognition. Applicants must have overcome challenges and can articulate education and career actions, must have a composite ACT score of a 22 on a single test date or a 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to underrepresented and/or first-generation college students. Deadline: December 31

Ronald Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program - for college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship. Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years – up to $40,000 total per recipient. Deadline: January 3
Vantage Credit Union Quest for Education Scholarship - Vantage Credit Union will award 10 - $1,000 scholarships. Any Vantage Credit Union member who is a graduating high school senior and a primary account holder may apply for our QFE scholarship. If you’re not a member, you may open an account and become eligible to apply. Deadline: January 5
Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund - The APIASF General Scholarship is open to Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) high school and college students who will be enrolling or are currently enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university as a degree-seeking undergraduate student in the upcoming academic year. There are multiple scholarship opportunities that vary in award amount, number of years, field of study, location, and more. For high school seniors, current college students, and students with GED entering college in Fall 2018. Deadline: January 11
National Multiple Sclerosis Society Scholarship Program Deadline: January 18
Optimist International sponsors three scholarship contests for students to earn money to pursue opportunities in higher education: the Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CCDHH), the Essay Contest and the Oratorical Contest. The O'Fallon Optimist Club is collecting applications and documentation for the Oratorical Contest. Materials must be received by Cynthia Schwab by January 30th (cyndyschwab@yahoo.com). This year's topic for the oratorical contest is, "Where are My Roots of Optimism?" Contact Cyndy at 636-544-0102 with any questions.
The Soil and Water Conservation Society has several scholarships available for students who plan to pursue a degree in a conservation or natural resource-related field. (Most deadlines are January 31st).
Dauthers of the American Revolution awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of higher education in diverse areas of study including history, economics, law, political science, medicine, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, elementary and secondary education, chemistry, math, science and English. Deadline: January 31

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship provides four-year scholarships of $30,000 and extensive support services, including career guidance and internship placement, to highly motivated African American students. Due February 1st
Missouri Society of CPAs Scholarship for high school seniors planning to major in accounting. Scholarships are $500. Deadline: February 1
First Financial Credit Union Right Stuff Scholarship - The 1st Financial scholarship will be awarded to one current 1st Financial member between the ages of 17 and 22, graduating high school or currently attending college. Not a member? It only takes $1 to open an account. Deadline: February 1
Westlake Scholarship - for seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA, who will enroll at a Mossouri two or four year college in the fall, whose family's adjusted gross income is $50,000 or less. Deadline: February 1
Elks Legacy Award - Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of Elks members. The Foundation will offer a total of 300 awards in the 2018 contest. Deadline: February 2
Law Day Essay Contest The Missouri Bar Young Lawyers Section and the Missouri National Education Association invite students in your school district to participate in the annual contest. All essays should be sent directly to the Missouri NEA judging coordinator listed on the flier. The essays must be postmarked by February 2. Once the first round of judging is completed, finalists will compete in the statewide competition to qualify for $300, $200 and $150 prizes.
Project 21 - The Missouri Gaming Association sponsors the Project 21 Scholarship Program. The goal of the scholarship program is to not only to inform our youth that it is not permissible in Missouri for persons under the age of 21 to gamble in a casino, but also to educate them about the dangers and consequences associated with underage gambling. The Project 21 Scholarship Program provides Missouri students an opportunity to disseminate their message by writing an article or creating a poster or video addressing the issue of underage gambling. Two (2) $1,500.00 first prize scholarships and Four (4) $1,000.00 second prize scholarships will be awarded. The article, poster or video entry, must be on display at the student's school for one full week prior to February 15. The completed application and other required documentation as outlined in the application must be received by MARCH 1
Missouri PTA offers Teacher Education Scholarships for high school seniors. Scholarships are $500 per year, renewable up to four years. To read full details, and to apply, click link above. Deadline: February 15
National Co-op Scholarship Program | 155 merit scholarships totaling 4 million dollars will be awarded. Students who are admitted to one of the seven institutions listed in the scholarship brochure can apply for one of these scholarships by visiting the website. Deadline: February 15
Vegetarian Resource Group Scholarship must demonstrate an interest in promoting vegetarianism in your school community. Deadline: February 20
The Coolidge Scholarship for America - Four Year, Full Ride at any accredited college in the US. Applicants should have taken the most academically rigorous courses, be interested in public policy, and exhibit humility and a dedication to service. Deadline: February 23
Alliance Credit Union Dennis J. Sommer Scholarship for Excellence in Education - To be eligible, applicants must be Alliance Credit Union members (or the son/daughter/grandchild of an Alliance member -- you can open an account with as little as $5 ). Deadline: February 27
Farm Kids for College Scholarship - The competition is open to high school seniors who plan to pursue agriculture-related degrees from accredited colleges or universities. Deadline: February 28
National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Scholarship - Essay topic: "What has high school athletics done for me?" Deadline: February 28

Association of General Contractors of Missouri (AGC) Scholarships - multiple awards for both college-bound AND future skilled trades careers. Deadline: March 1
Missouri Chamber STEM Signing Day Scholarship - for students who plan to pursue a STEM related degree at a 4-year, 2-year, or Technical College. Deadline: March 1
Microsoft Disability Scholarship - must have diagnosed disability (visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive, speech or other World Health Organization recognized disability. Deadline: March 1
St. Charles Community College has over 40 Foundation scholarships ranging in amounts (with various requirements), including their full tuition Trustee Scholarships! Deadline: March 1
Project Yellow Light (Billboard Contest) - Project Yellow Light is a scholarship competition designed to bring about change. As an applicant you have one clear mission: encourage your peers to develop and embrace safe driving habits. Deadline: March 1
SEG Scholarship - for students interested in pursuing a major in applied geophysics. Deadline: March 1

Missouri Masonic Scholarships - The Masonic Grand Lodge of Missouri is offering three scholarships; two of them are offered to students in any degree program, and the third is for students planning to pursue a degree in education or health care. Missouri Courage Scholarship - MCS acknowledges, affirms, and rewards the courage of those graduating seniors who have demonstrated their willingness to work for change in their community to advance the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) people and other historically marginalized groups. Deadline: March 31
Missouri Insurance Education Foundation (MIEF) scholarships - Applicants must plan to enroll in insurance, risk management or actuarial science courses. Deadline: March 31

Nerd Wallet Sustainability Scholarship - $1000 scholarship for students with a dedication to sustainability and conscientious buying (essay required). Deadline: April 1st
Missouri Chapter of American Public Works Association Scholarships - recognize Missouri students who have excelled academically and personally, and who intend to enter the field of public works during their professional career. All scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit. Applicants must have permanent residence in the geographic boundary of the Missouri Chapter. Scholarships may be used at any accredited technical school or technical college and any accredited college or university. Deadline: April 1st

Patriot Guard Riders of Missouri Scholarship Program - We are offering this scholarship to one deserving Missouri student who qualifies within the following categories: (1) A son or daughter of one who has given their life in the line of duty, including both military and first responder (police/fire). (2) A son or daughter of an honorably discharged veteran who has passed after their term of service.
