Mrs. Darks

My name is Jennifer Darks. This is my 16th year teaching first grade at Crossroads. I did my student teaching at Crossroads and was a teacher's assistant here for a couple years too! I graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (Grades 1-6). I am also certified to teach Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 3).  I received a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Literacy from the University of Missouri Columbia.

My husband Ryan teaches middle school PE/Health in the Francis Howell School District. Ryan and I have three daughters. Alyson will be in seventh grade, Lauren will be in fifth grade, and my four year old Kaylee is in preschool. We also have a dog we love named Emmie!

When I am not teaching I love spending time with my family. We like to swim, play outside, and watch movies. I also love to read books and watch tv. My favorite place is the beach!
