Students in grades K-4 can check-out up to ten picture books or five chapter books from the Stone Creek library for summer reading on May 21 - 22nd with parent permission. *permission slip here*

All books are due Meet the Teacher night OR on the first day of school on August 18. This allows us to prepare them for students' return to the library.

To Be Eligible: 

• This opportunity is for current K-4 students only.

• Your student(s) must have all of their library books from the 2024-2025 school year turned in and/or any library fines paid for. 

Terms:

• My child(ren) can check-out up to 10 picture books or 5 chapter books the last full week of school and bring them home for the summer. No summer check-outs after May 22nd.

• I assume responsibility for lost or damaged books and will pay a replacement fee, if needed.

We encourage you to take part in the summer reading program through the public library as well. Information about the public library's summer reading challenge will be emailed or sent home soon.

SCE library recently added a brand new book vending machine, giving students a fun and exciting way to choose their next great read.  Students can earn tokens to use the machine by completing reading challenges, showing postiive behavior, or reaching academic goals!  Special thanks to SCE PTC for their donation to help make this happen!
