Welcome 

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Barfield Early Childhood Special Education Center. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to my classroom. This year will be filled with fun and exciting learning opportunities. Our days are very busy in preschool. Each day we will learn about, language, math, social skills, handwriting, problem solving concepts, and much more. The first week of school will be spend learning our schedule, rules/procedures, exploring our classroom, and getting to know each other. 

School Hours: AM Sessions: 8:55-11:55

                       PM Session: 12:55-3:55 

If you walk your child into the school you will need to stop at the front office and sign your child in and also get a visitor stickers.

*Playground: We have a great playground for the children to play on at recess time. It is very important for your child to wear proper shoes. 

Nurse: If you child is on any medication please contact the school nurses. 

Library: We will visit the library once a week. Your child is allowed to choose a book from the library to take home with a parent signed permission slip. Your child's library book will need to be returned to school before we visit the library the following week. 

Snack: Our school provides a healthy snack for your child. NO OUTSIDE FOOD PLEASE!!!
